Job Description:

Schwing Stetter is looking for a person with atleast 10 - 12 years experience in Strategic Sourcing, Commodity Management of Electrical and electronics parts  with the capability to develop a comprehensive component library and manage overall BOM cost across the procurement team.

Roles: 

1. The electrical/electro-mechanical/Electronics  sourcing manager  role is to manage the commercial and business relationships between electrical/electro-mechanical supply chain, and interface externally with those suppliers as well as internally with supply chain team, engineering, and operations management teams.
2. Ability to work collaboratively with engineering teams on cost optimization projects, including sourcing low-cost electrical alternatives and Indegenisation of Electrical and electronic Components.
3. Manage all commercial aspects of the assigned supply base, including: achieving cost reduction goals through negotiation, creating and implementing sourcing strategies across a wide array of commodities, driving assurance of supply, building a strong global network of supplier relationships, and resolving various open issues with the cross- functional team.
4. Collaborate with manufacturing and engineering teams to transition new products (NPI) and product enhancements from engineering pilot production to full production.
5. Monitor market conditions and future technology roadmaps, communicate them to engineering teams to mitigate supply and cost risks.
