• Job Title: Technician / Engineer – Display Products (LED, LCD Panels, Projectors, Display Walls, Monitors)

Experience Required:

• Diploma: 4 - 6 years’ experience in electronics repair
• Graduate: 2 - 4 years’ experience in electronics repair

Shift: Day

General Purpose: Responsible to diagnose and repair display solution products with quality repair

Key Responsibilities & Deliverables:

• Perform analysis, rework  & testing display products
• Diagnose and repair LEDs in Display panels, LCD Panels, Different types of PCBs, Power Supplies, and Projectors
• Meet productivity target to manage WIP under control
• Demonstrate quality repair to meet desired scrap and repair return rate
• On-time repair to meet TAT
• Provide timely feedback to contain & prevent failures through - CAPA
• Maintain the workbench & workplace neat  - 5S
• Ensure ESD compliance met
• Maintain and manage spares with diligent care
• Ensure communication with peers for best knowledge sharing
• Attend team meeting for necessary input/target
• Prepare & share daily, weekly and monthly report
• Drive and participate Improvement projects
• Ensure knowledge & experience is shared in team

Knowledge & Skills Required:

• Knowledge in Tools, Fixtures, Test & Measuring equipment
• Skilled in disassembly & assembly of products
• Skilled in troubleshooting with logical signal probing
• Highly skilled in Rework ( Hot Air Blower, BGA & Soldering station)
• Knowledge on Quality Improvement Tools – Six Sigma, 7 QC Tools, 5Why Analysis, SGA, Kaizen, 5S, and Lean
• Computer knowledge to set up repair workbench – SW  and Drivers Installation
• Knowledge on Repair and Spare management tool (ERP, Fuse )
• Knowledge in MS Office
• Possess good analytical skill
• Awareness on ESD, Material Handing, OHS and PPEs
• Expert in reworking SMD and IC components
• Expert in systematic failure analysis
• Expert in schematic reading
• Expert in SMD reworks of 0201, 0204, 0608 components
• Expert in Functional testing of LCD, LED Panels, and Walls
• Skilled in using Oscilloscope, LCR Meter & Multimeter
• Knowledge on functioning of display products
• Sound knowledge of SMT technologies
• Sound Knowledge in 5S& ESD Compliance
• Good Knowledge in MS Office – Especially in PowerPoint and Excel
