1. Job / Training Description:
Medical Equipment Technical Assistant
Invasive Ventilator On-the-Job (OJT) Product Training under Medical Devices & Equipment for Critical Care Applications for up to 6 months
2. Expected educational qualification:
Certified Undergraduate B. Vocc or equivalent in Medical Equipment / Medical Lab Technology, Diploma, ITI training of Instrumentation, Mechatronics, Electrical etc.
3. Stipend Amount: 12 K/ P.M. (Negotiable as per experience/interview)
4. Other Facilities:
- PPE, Sanitisers provided
- Travel Reimbursement
5. Training Opportunities:
- Full-time
- On-site assisting Hospital Biomedical Engineer for 7-14 days (depending on clinicians' requirement) from installation date
- Each technician can be allotted 5-50 ventilators to oversee at the stationed hospital
TERMS OF ENGAGEMENT:
- Purely temporary on a rolling contract
- Probationary Period: 14 days & contract extendable up to 6 months based on weekly appraisal by service partner
- Transferrable at any time on the basis of customer requirement
- Terminable at any time
POST TRAINING: Select top performers might be regularized on contractual payroll with

6. Job Location - Pune
Position transferable from one hospital to another as and where ventilators are installed
7. Training Hours: Full Time 6 days / 48 hrs / week in a shift as per hospital requirement.
8. Expectation from Candidates:
JOB ROLE:
- Providing product training demonstration to the hospital staff for day to day equipment operations
- Ensure Critical Care Specialists fully understand the USP & advanced features of the device
- Facilitating user interface engagement for navigating GUI
- Keeping daily track of event logs for alarms etc.
- Record end-user feedback, testimonials manage troubleshooting issues
- Prevent any medical mishaps and timely handle events assisting Biomedical Engineer to minimise downtime
- Undertake Preventive Maintenance: Cleaning and disinfection
- Appraise Nocca, manufacturer by recording events and flag failures and issues of commissioned devices
REPORTING & ESCALATION :
- Daily reporting for post-marketing surveillance with hourly operation logs for alarms etc.
- QMS template for recording events and flag failures and issues of commissioned devices
- Get testimonials from medical staff along with end-user feedback
TRAINING OF TRAINERS:
Each qualified master trainer MET via ToT program to conduct OTJ of up to 5 new work shadow trainees at a stationed hospital site
